Funny Lord of the Rings Message: The long-awaited Elden Ring has finally release, and it looks like fans all over the world have been very excited about this dark fantasy action game.
Elden Ring’s look is more like traditional high and heroic fantasy than the grimdark look of other Soulsborne games made by FromSoftware.
One Elden Ring player recently found a funny message that takes advantage of the game’s fantasy elements to make fun of the Lord of the Rings movies.
Elden Ring appears to base in part on the Lord of the Rings, which may not come as a surprise. The Lord of the Rings is so popular that most modern fantasy has some connection to J.R.R. Tolkien’s world.
It also directly impacted George R.R. Martin, who wrote the books that he did. The Lord of the Rings might be more strange to not see in the game because Martin helped build the world of Elden Ring.
If you want to see a screenshot of Master-favorite Spare-4782’s message so far in Elden Ring. You can see it here. The news makes use of the game’s word selection format to tell the reader to “Try throwing, Elden Ring!” If you look, you’ll see it next to a deep hole that leads to a pool full of hot lava.
This is an apparent reference to the Lord of the Rings story. In which the main goal is to throw a magic ring into the volcano.
“Good” is what the screenshot says this message is. It has rated 510 times, which is a lot for how hard it can be to find specific notes in the game.
This isn’t the first time players of the game Elden Ring have used references to other games in their messages. It may be one of the funniest.
As a side note, though, players might not want to throw the Elden Ring into the lava during their playthroughs.
As of this writing, it looks like other fans also find this message funny. In many of the replies, people refer to The Lord of the Rings. Like saying that the Hobbits are being taken to Caelid or asking the Tarnished what their maiden’s eyes can see.
They said it would be cool if FromSoftware made an enemy that would try to attack the player from behind, like in the Lord of the Rings’ ending.
Elden Ring is available on P.C., PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. You can also get it on Xbox One.
