PlayStation 3 games are now available through the PlayStation 5 Store: Sony’s speculated Spartacus program appears to be an Xbox Game Pass competitor that PlayStation fans are eagerly waiting for, but details on this intriguing new initiative have been scarce.

One Of Spartacus’ primary attributes is playing classic games from the old PS consoles.

A handful of brand new games listed on the PlayStation 5 game store seem to indicate this also.

The users have reported they have noticed a change in the PlayStation 5 game store now has official listings for Dead or Alive five and some other games that are – to date – been available only for PlayStation 3.

In the wake of Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, Spartacus subscriptions provide the ability to play PS exclusives, both new and classic. This updated listing suggests that the plan could further advance than initially thought.

The first report was make via Jordan Middler via Twitter; specific PlayStation 3 Games on the PS5 store initially was restricted to Dead or Alive 5.

PlayStation 3 games are now available through the PlayStation 5 Store

However, the list has expanded and now includes Bejeweled 3 and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones HD

Because the PlayStation Store is a generalized market that includes games available for all online-connected Sony consoles.

It would not be newsworthy by itself, but PS5 gamers aren’t usually able to see pricing information for games they can’t buy in the first place.

It’s evident that this isn’t an official confirmation of the existence of a Sony Spartacus feature. And this may be just a minor glitch within the PS Store.

But it is a good sign that the possibility of PS3 games on the most current PlayStation consoles could be a massive boon for Sony’s speculated Xbox Game Pass competitor and is expected to be an element of Spartacus the final pricing level.

In essence, the PlayStation subscription service will be a mix of PS Plus and PS Now. However, with a tiered pricing structure.

According to the most recent information, the gamers would have access only to PlayStation 3 games would restrict to the highest-priced level, which will also comprise PS1 and PS2 games.

Because the specifics of this Spartacus program are scarce potential gamers, need to wait to determine. Whether Sony is a genuinely appealing alternative to Xbox Game Pass at the ready.

Also, it’s important to note that this isn’t an exact indication of what’s in store for Spartacus.

As we said earlier, it could be a glitch causing PS Store. To possibly pull its prices directly from PS Now libraries. Which allows users to rent games separately.

In the meantime, PlayStation fans should keep an eye on what will come out of this and also if it connects to Spartacus in the first place.
