Path of Exile Declared Prophecy Removal in 3.17 Version.
Path of Exile informs that they are removing Prophecies out of the game during the new January update. Unfortunately, this means that players will have to spend the Silver Coins and saved Prophecies before the update.
Prophecies were first introduced in 2016 and consist of predictions of characters’ futures given by Navali, an in-game NPC.
For Silver Coins, Navali would offer players a prophecy. It will trigger specific game encounters or alter the outcomes of current scenarios.
Also, it will give players to earn additional benefits such as items, currency, or other mobs.
It also means that we’ll be going to say goodbye to Navali. She likely saw the news from miles away; however, don’t feel sorry. Since the beginning, the prophecies feature as the main mechanic in the Path of Exile.
But, it’s also been rendered obsolete due to the introduction of newer content through the numerous updates. It has been made over the decades.
Grinding Gear Games also touched on these changes, which are currently being implemented in the next version.
- Coins of silver, itemized prophecies, along with Pale Council fragments, will be removed from your inventory and will be relocated to your stash following the time that you sign into after the release of 3.17.0.
- Exclusive items that were previously only available to the Prophecy chain or Pale Council fight will be added to the main drop pool.
- We consider several Fated Unique items to be boring enough to be part of the game’s main. This list of Fated Unique items will no ever be available apart from trade with players in leagues that are permanent: Corona Solaris, Crystal Vault, Deidbellow, Dreadsurge, Ezomyte Hold, Fox’s Fortune, Greedtrap, Hrimnor’s Dirge, Kaltensoul, Karui Charge, Martyr’s Crown, Mirebough, Ngamahu Tiki, Panquetzaliztli, Realm Ender, Sanguine Gambol, Shavronne’s Gambit, Silverbough, Sunspite, The Effigon, The Gryphon, The Oak, Voidheart, and Wall of Brambles.
- In some cases, there were instances where the Fated version of the Unique item was deemed worth having in the game. Still, there was no benefit in making both the Fated variant and the original version of the Unique article distinct. In such cases, the Fated Unique object will likely become removed. At the same time, the actual Unique product will then be altered to be similar or identical to the previous Fated version. The items are Winterweave, Thirst for Horrors, Cragfall, Geofri’s Legacy, The Iron Fortress, The Dancing Duo and Timetwist.
- Atziri’s Reflection won’t be considered a fated Unique item. It will instead be an uncommon release by Uber Atziri. Atziri’s Mirror will no longer be dropped.
- Fatal Unique Items not mentioned above can drop from any map in the endgame boss. It’s a temporary fix and we plan to create a more engaging method to acquire Fated Unique items alongside some brand new items during a future expansion.
- Existing items that offer Prophecy rewards, like Delirium Orbs or Metamorph Samples, will be upgraded to give an entirely different type of reward.
- We’re including Lilly Roth as a new potential hideout NPC. She will take over the hideout divination cards turn-ins from Navali and give the user access to her shop for gems.
- In new ways, we may bring back specific benefits in other prophetic prophecies (such as Monstrous Treasure).
- Divination cards that offer specific prophecies will be revamped with the people who helped design the cards. If you’re a patron who created cards, please look up the email address linked to your Path of Exile account for an email from us.
