Nintendo Switch Release Date for Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster: It’s a well-known fact that the Final Fantasy series founded on Nintendo hardware. This exclusivity ended some time ago, but most Final Fantasy games are now multi-platform.
Classic series entries, in particular, are available on almost every gadget you can imagine. However, that does not apply to Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster.
The polished remasters of Square Enix’s first games are so currently only available on PC and mobile.
The next question could be obvious: when will they be released on Nintendo Switch?
When will Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster come?
There’s currently no mention of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games available on Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch.
In reality, the creators do not have plans to release Pixel Remaster games to any platforms other than PC and mobile.
As of now, the developers have said they’ll only consider console porting depending on user interest and feedback.
The whole scenario seems a little strange. The original Final Fantasy games- those made available as the Pixel Remaster- were initially exclusive to Nintendo hardware.
However, these games aren’t available on Nintendo’s new handheld despite the first ones being accessible on earlier Nintendo consoles.

It’s usually just a matter of waiting for the inevitable console release. But, the team working at Square Enix has decided not to release Pixel Remasters on consoles.
In the official Pixel Remaster FAQ, the team “may explore making games playable on different devices,” but only “if there is a need in the market.”
Another way of saying it, Square Enix isn’t very eager to release Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster for the Nintendo Switch. This is the same for PS4, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Series X|S.
The only way the studio will think about it is if its people reach out to express their desire to have it. In other words, there aren’t any plans to look into new platforms.
Until we hear something else, no time frame will tell us when Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster will be available for Switch.
If you’re looking to test out the new versions that have been polished, you’ll have to play them on a PC or a smartphone.
In other cases, you’ll be able to find classic games almost anyplace. The only downside is that you’ll miss the latest sounds and bells.
