Mario Kart Players Are Upset About Grass:  Mario Kart 8 Deluxe came out soon after the Nintendo Switch came out. It included the Wii U version of the game with a few extras that were only for Switch fans. New Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC racetracks came as a surprise to fans. The game has been a favorite for years.

If you’re playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and haven’t already. You can get the new DLC call “Booster Course”. Which adds a lot of tracks from older Mario Kart games to the game. However, now that the first of those tracks have release, some fans are complaining about one thing in particular: the grass.

For most Mario Kart players, the grass is likely something they avoid and speed through without much thought. In the new version of the game, there are some things that fans have noticed that aren’t right, like how the grass looks.

Some people say that the grass looks flat and lifeless compared to what came with the game when it first came out. In addition, some of the finer details of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe‘s bass tracks haven’t include in the DLC. This makes roads and reflections look flat and less dynamic than they would have if they had include.

The grass doesn’t look the same as the grass that came with the base game. Some people think that some of the maps directly port from Mario Kart Tour. Which may be why they look so simple. It could even be a mistake or oversight that will fix later. Like when Ocarina of Time had problems with its visuals.

It was no surprise that other Nintendo fans and gamers, in general, came to Nintendo’s defense. They say that for the amount of content delivered, the price of $24.99 for the DLC is very reasonable. This means that the number of tracks in the game will double.

Grass that doesn’t look right seems like a minor thing to do when this consider. As a side note, while the Nintendo Switch has produced some stunning graphics over time. The last few Nintendo consoles weren’t meant to compete with Sony and Microsoft’s consoles’ more powerful processing and GPU power when it comes to graphics.

While some people may be unhappy about this, it’s a good sign that the main thing people don’t like about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s DLC right now is how the grass looks. As long as the gameplay and system performance stay the same, most fans will be happy.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, you can play the game on the Nintendo Switch right now!
