Last week, Pokemon came to the end of a week of announcements that led to the game’s “Pokemon Day,” when the next generation of Pokemon games announced. ‘Mario Day’ will be held on March 10th.
Nintendo and some stores are already celebrating the Italian plumber’s big day.
The annual Super Mario-themed event has become a tradition for Nintendo. It’s a play on words based on the date of “Mar10,” like the Star Wars fans who celebrate “May the 4th” each year. There have been significant discounts on many games and other things, like Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Super Mario Maker 2.
Now that 2022’s Mario Day is just a few days away, Nintendo and significant retailers are giving away some of the best Mario games at a lower price because of the event.
Mario’s sale items have already been sold on the Nintendo Switch’s eShop and at several other online stores. This is to help celebrate Mario Day. You can buy games like New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe for $40 instead of $60.

Amazon also has some DLC codes for Mario games like Luigi’s Mansion 3. GameStop has sales on Mario toys, apparel, and collectables through the beginning of next week.
During Nintendo’s February ‘Nintendo Direct’ broadcast, the company said a primary DLC pack for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would become. The sale for the game comes soon after. Mario Golf: Super Rush release last June, and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit release in October.
Both Best Buy and GameStop are also offering discounts on the complete kits for the augmented-reality racing game, which lets you race in your own home.
Fans of the game will have a lot to look forward to in 2022. Besides Mario Golf and Mario Tennis, Nintendo also said that another significant Mario sports game was coming back. Mario Strikers: Battle League is the first Mario soccer game since Mario Strikers Charged for the Wii.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope also set to come out in 2022. It hasn’t had a new main-series announcement yet, but fans of the long-running series should be excited about what the next year has in store.
