Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires will get a demo in Japanese.
It’s almost hard to believe, but it’s been almost 4 years since a new Warrior dynasty game has arrived on the scene. The series was once one of Koei Tecmo’s most consistent releases.
But after Warriors of Dynasty 9, I tried some new things that didn’t quite work, it got kinda idle. That will change with Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires, a reworked version of that game.
While the game was planned once for this year, it did suffer from the lag bug a while back. However, you should be able to test it relatively soon.
The publisher announced today that a demo is coming. It will feature playable scenarios based on the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of the Red Cliffs, two well-known events in the always-told narrative. Unfortunately, no date was given on when to expect the demo.
But considering how the game will launch in just a few months, it should be pretty soon. You will also be able to transfer character customization data from the demo to the main game, which you can see a bit here.
It’s worth noting that only one Japanese demo has been announced so far, not to mention when a Western version would become.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is scheduled to release on February 15, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
The demo has been announced for all those platforms except for PC. We will keep you posted when more details are released.
