Pokemon Go‘s recently revealed the Year of the Tiger event has a stunning Litleo and a host of other Pokemon with cat themes. As well Overwatch‘s annual event showcased stunning designs that included Tracer, Mercy, and others.
In the meantime, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has revealed its version of the celebrations. With lots of Lunar New Year content coming to the well-known simulation game.
The holidays are among the most thrilling seasons for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. And the series is well-known for its holiday-themed events in the game.
The series is known for its celebration of Toy Day each December as the Animal Crossingversion of Christmas. It also features many festivals throughout the year. Putting the game a unique spin on holiday occasions such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and many more.
With that, the Lunar New Year officially kicked off. Animal Crossing has once more embraced the spirit of Christmas with a variety of gifts to help players welcome the New Year.
New Horizons Celebrates Lunar New Year
Animal Crossing: New Horizons announced via the official Twitter account for the game this week. That its Nook Shopping will include various “fun things” to aid players in decorating their homes. As well as islands to celebrate an upcoming Lunar New Year.
The image of the tweet features an Asian-inspired home design and a brand-new door. Along with different furniture pieces and decorations, including a sizeable ornate vase and a beautiful fence.
However, the tweet did not specify the timeframe for when the brand new Lunar New Year cosmetics would be available.
The thread posted earlier in the day. Animal Crossing also announced that a variety of Valentine’s Day-themed items would available to purchase via Nook Shopping, with the romantic holiday only two weeks away.
There will also be new clothing and furniture options to be found in time for Setsubun. The Japanese celebration of Setsubun.
The account previously announced the Setsubun-themed makeup items with seasonal items. Such as bean-tossing sets and ogre masks that are available at the Able Boutique for the Sisters. Which allows users to purchase the festive decorations until the 3rd of February.
The vast popularity that has seen Animal Crossing: New Horizons climb to become the second-highest-selling Switch game ever The cult title has been at an impasse over the past few months.
Nintendo earlier confirmed that the slice-of-life simulation game would receive its final update free of charge in November. It also received its first DLC, Happy Home Paradise, in this same period.
Although Nintendo seems to be taking a step back off the game moving further, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will leave an imprint for the series and the Switch overall.
