The race to defeat Final Fantasy XIV’s new Ultimate begins tomorrow:  On April 26, Final Fantasy XIV will get the latest in its Ultimate series of raids. It will be available for everyone to play when Patch 6.11 comes out. There is also a race to beat Final Fantasy XIV’s new and most challenging raid first.

Many Static (raid team) teams from around the world will try to clear the Dragonsong Ultimate before anyone else does. This will happen around 2:00 am PST when the maintenance on all the worlds is over. Ultimate raids are a high-end job. They’re a series of bosses from previous jobs that have been made even more difficult.

The race to defeat Final Fantasy XIV’s new Ultimate begins tomorrow

Before April 26, there were only three Ultimate raids: The Unending Coil of Bahamut, The Weapons Refrain, and The Epic of Alexander. After April 26, there were five. Over two and a half years ago, the Alexander Ultimate, also known as TEEA, came out. It’s the first time in years that the raiders have been able to play some of the most challenging content.

This time, who is the favorite to win? Current and past champions of the FFXIV RWF, Thoughts Per Second (TPS). When TEA was first killed in 2019, TPS became the first person to kill it. Asphodelus: Pandaemonium: Asphodelus was the first thing to be cleared in 2019. (Savage).

There will be competition, but they’ll have to fight for their business. There will be more Statics competing for the world-first this time around than ever before. 2020 saw Final Fantasy XIV become more popular, and 2021 and 2022 saw the success of Endwalker. This has made high-end content more popular, and more people play games with this kind of content. This may be the most fought-out race we’ve seen so far for an Ultimate.

Some people are already preparing and practicing for the new raid on Twitch so that you can see some of the race for yourself.
