A leaker has taken to Twitter to say that their sources say that Hogwarts Legacy could be one of many Harry Potter-themed media that could be put on hold. If the origins of the leaker are correct, it’s all because the Fantastic Beasts trailer didn’t come out on time.
The source of the leak says that the trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is change because the movie itself getting push back.
People interested in other Harry Potter projects may affected by this, as well. AccountNGT says one of those projects may be the Hogwarts Legacy project.
Sources also say that the supposed delay of the Fantastic Beasts 3 trailer may have something to do with the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Which would make sense given the situation.

Because Warner Bros. made plans for 2022, they may change them in the future. Fans may want to wait until the company makes an official statement about the matter.
It’s important to remember that there have been rumors about a Hogwarts Legacy delay for a long time now. WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar put those rumors to rest at the time, though.
The game itself has been the subject of many supposed leaks. Most of which talked about the game’s possible release date. Official confirmation or denial of this leak hasn’t made so that it could true or false at any time.
