Sniper Kills Attack Plane Griefer: Grand Theft Auto Online allows players to engage in PvP combat on the streets of Los Santos. The popular multiplayer game gives players full access to the vast arsenal of machine guns, rocket launchers, and explosives.

While most players will load up on the most deadly weapons in GTA to fight off attacking griefers, one player discovered what happens when they only bring a sniper rifle with them to fight fighter jets.

Many games fall under the Rockstar Games umbrella for those who don’t know.

Grand Theft Auto Online gives players the ability to decide whether to do good or bad to compete with other players in the vast world.

Passive mode is available for those who prefer not to make a decision. This makes them invincible. This is not always possible, and the player becomes a victim of grief.

While most grief incidents result in the victim suffering, some griefers get their due.

Reddit user Giblin posted a 26-second clip to the subreddit, confirming this idea of Grand Theft Auto Online.

It shows the player getting sharp justice in the game. Many gamers were both amused and stunned by the sight of another griefer in Rockstar’s game.

The clip shows the player exploring Vespucci Beach, Los Santos district. This area is already well-known for its bizarre GTA Online sightings. Everything is going well until Giblin sees a shadow of an LF-22 Starling fighter aircraft creeping up behind him.

Giblin, however, stands firm and fights the fearsome fighter plane using only the weapons they have. This is unlike Cary Grant’s iconic scene with the crop duster in the 1959 thriller North By Northwest.

The griefer outpaces the launcher’s range limit given first attempts to destroy the aircraft with their mighty GTA Homing Rocket. As there are no other options, Giblin quickly switches to the Heavy Sniper to take a quick shot at it.

Amazingly, the one bullet completes the task, and the griefer is immediately taken down.

Grand Theft Auto Online has shown that spending vast sums of money on vehicles capable of mass destruction is the best way to deal with enemies.

The truth is that even base game weapons can cause severe damage. Videos like these show that lower-ranking players can fight griefers, provided they can learn the base game weapons.

Grand Theft Auto Online is now available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There are also Xbox Series X and PS5 versions in development.
