Resident Evil Village wins Best Game of the Year at Golden Joystick Awards.
The Golden Joystick Awards were held last night and of course, we saw a ton of winners in several different categories. Obviously, it is necessary to mention that the upcoming games like Infinite halo, The Gunk, and others were not included in the list of nominations.
Death loop won the Critics Choice award and the PC platform was nominated as the definitive hardware of all time. Double Fine Studios’ Psychonauts 2 was awarded the Xbox Game of the Year award, and Resident Evil Village was awarded the same for PlayStation.
Nintendo’s Game of the Year was, of course, Metroid Dread, and Hitman 3 was awarded the PC Game of the Year award. FromSoftware is incredibly successful Dark souls was awarded the Definitive Game of All Time.
However, its next open-world spiritual successor Elden Ring was awarded the Most Wanted game. Finally, the Ultimate Game of the Year was, again, awarded to Capcom’s Resident Evil Village.
