Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PC with post-launch Switch content included.

Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will launch on PC with all post-launch content for the Nintendo Switch version included. in a blog post On Steam, the developer explains that the next PC game will feature everything the current version has on Nintendo’s handheld gaming device, with plans to have fully synced updates by the end of February 2022.

Monster Hunter Rise has received a steady stream of updates since its release earlier this year. As such, you get the basic monster offering along with some new beasts that Capcom added in later updates, like Teostra, Kushala Daora, and Chameleons.

You’ll also get access to the new ending to the main story, along with missions and costumes that come from collaborative events with Monster Hunter Stories 2, Okami, Street Fighter, Mega Man 11, Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Capcom reaffirms that Monster Hunter Rise does not support cross-platform or cross-save games between PC and Switch, so you will start from scratch if you have already played this one.

More Monster Hunter Rise content is on the way too. Capcom has revealed that an expansion called Sunbreak is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC in the summer of 2022. Expect a new story along with more monsters, locations, and gameplay elements.
