Mojang promises no Minecraft NFTs: After receiving requests from the community for further information on the usage of NFTs with their game and platform. Minecraft creator Mojang has informed the community of their position.

NFTs and blockchains not permit in Minecraft, and it  not allow to use in-game assets to establish an NFT. They are presently changing their use restrictions, but they wanted to let everyone know in advance.

Claim that the reason for this is that NFTs generate a feeling of scarcity and exclude participants who do not wish to pay for them in a blog post outlining their position on the usage of contentious cryptocurrencies and other technologies.

They claim they want every user always to have access to all of the game’s material and always to feel secure and included. According to the developers, these types of actions will transform Minecraft from a game about having fun with friends into a platform that exists to make money from these purchases.

Additionally, it is debatable whether such authority should place in the hands of suspect individuals. The owner of an NFT would lose all access to the assets they purchased if an asset manager were to vanish suddenly.

This position against NFTs on its platform has also prompt by the potential for inflated and dishonest NFT pricing. Although artists may earn money from their works on the Minecraft Marketplace. Mojang can keep a tighter check on those business operations there.

According to the blog post, they will be closely monitoring how blockchain technology develops to see if it ever takes a turn that the developer believes can be secure, inclusive, and dependable for Minecraft players.

If things change, there is a chance that they may join the game in the future. However, NFTs and everything connected to them are now forbidden in Minecraft.
