Keeps track of all Wordle clones created by this site:  It has become one of the most popular word games in recent memory since Josh Wardle released it in October last year, and it has become even more popular since then. Whenever there is a good game, there will be a lot of copies that come after it.

This is not the case with Wordle. A website is now helping fans keep track of the growing number of Wordle clone games, and it’s easy to see how many there are.

“Rdles.com” is a website that calls itself a “rule” aggregator and database. Its goal is to keep track of Wordle-themed clones, with the original game (or the N.Y. Times version) as the first entry. Now, there are 26 Wordle clone games on the site.

They’re all shown in a list on a single page. Each entry has a picture of the clone game and a short description, and a link to the game. You might want to put this on your home page if you like Wordle. There’s also a “favorite” button that lets you move the list around to your heart’s content.

The site has a lot of weird Wordle clones, which show how weird and different they’ve become. In one example, Squirtle is a Pokemon-themed Wordle game, but players use their knowledge of Pokemon types and stats to figure out what Pokemon draw. Another unusual entry is Taylordle, which claims to be a Taylor Swift version of Wordle, based on Swift’s many songs.

These Wordle clones are also for people who want something less unique. Wordle Unlimited does what you’d expect it to do. It doesn’t have the daily word challenge that Wordle is known for but instead gives players unlimited game rounds.

Another exciting game is Hello World, which lets players change the length of the word to between 5 and 11 characters. This is a fun challenge for people who have a lot of words but find the original game too easy.

In the future, we don’t know how many Wordle clones will show up on Rules. The hype for Wordle has not yet gone away. There are now “clones of clones.” The Squirtle game now has a rival in Sqwordle, a Pokemon guessing game that plays very much like it.

You can keep track of the weird, ever-growing list of games that look like Wordle on the Rules site. True, now everyone can get their version of Wordle. It’s hard to think anyone will talk about clones like Taylordle in a few years. Many people still use Wordle, but it’s never a bad idea to try something new.

Web browsers can now use Wordle.
