Hidden presence in Fortnite: When you give a child presents, it’s a natural reaction to them wanting more.
Every time I opened all my presents at Christmas when I was a child, I’d check my parents’ most frequent hiding spots to ensure they weren’t stealing from me.
The idea of receiving an extra present can be more terrifying than the gifts you were aware of. So, in the case of hidden talents, where’s the secret facility within Fortnite?
Although the holiday season is gone, a few days remain to play Fortnite‘s Winterfest 2021 event.
In case you’ve enjoyed opening presents every day, you’ve probably exhausted your stock of gifts for the holidays.
This weekend, however, there was excitement among the players as they walked into The Cozy Lodge and received a notification on the top that said that they had one gift remaining to be opened?
Could this be a Christmas event? Did you find a present under the tree which had previously been a mystery?
Where is the hidden presence in Fortnite?
Unfortunately, no. It wasn’t. Fortnite had an intermittent server downtime during New Year’s Eve, and it turned out the notification that indicated an additional present was simply a glitch.
Epic’s official Fortnite status on Twitter wrote, “Already opened all of your presents, but there’s one present to open? So keep calm; we’re working on it.”
It could be a wrong choice of words for them; however, they intended to convey that they are working to fix the glitch that revealed the extra present, but people took it to mean that they would make an additional gift.
We’re sorry for destroying your Christmas spirit. But, unfortunately, there’s no secret present inside Fortnite.
If you have already opened the entire 14 Winterfest presents, then this is all you’re receiving.
Rumors circulate that Epic could give one more present after the festival in a gesture of apology for the mishap, but no confirmation has been made at the time of writing.
