Adds Final Fantasy XV to Xbox Game Pass: Microsoft adds new games to the Xbox Game Pass service all the time. The new books that come out on the first day are sometimes brand new, but other times they are older books that still play an essential role in getting and keeping subscribers.
In the most recent update to Xbox Game Pass, subscribers can now play Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13. This is a game that plays on the Xbox 360.
Subscribing to the Xbox Game Pass means that you can now play through Lightning’s entire series of games. Final Fantasy 13 and Fantasy 13-2 added to Xbox Game Pass a while ago, and now you can play them for free.
Xbox Game Pass doesn’t have any other Final Fantasy games that aren’t Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster.
On Xbox Game Pass, there used to be a lot more Final Fantasy games than there are now. They have since moved to PlayStation Now. One by one.
As PlayStation Now added Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, and 12, the games on Xbox Game Pass took off. Final Fantasy 10 is the only game that isn’t available on PlayStation Now and Xbox Game Pass.

Final Fantasy fans shouldn’t expect to see any more games on the Xbox any time soon. Unverified reports say that Sony wants to make Final Fantasy a PlayStation exclusive this generation.
This is shown by the upcoming Final Fantasy 16 being a timed-PS5 exclusive. As long as Sony can keep the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and other new FF games from Xbox, it could be suitable for JRPG fans.
If you want to play games on Xbox Game Pass, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 will be the last game added in March 2022. Far: Changing Tides and Microsoft Flight Simulator Cloud are already part of the new Xbox Game Pass games for March 2022. There will be many more games for the service this month as well.
