Weapons are among the most vital aspects of a character’s development for Genshin Impact. And selecting the correct weapon can have the most significant effect on a character’s overall performance.
MiHoYo, the developer behind Genshin Impact, has confirmed two brand new Catalyst weapons to release in the coming Genshin Impact update 2.5.
Genshin Impact’s official Genshin Impact Twitter account has revealed two weapons to be released in the next update. Another weapon called Oathsworn Eye confirm to be a weapon with four stars. A tweet from an authentic leaker called Ubatcha1 has confirmed that the weapon could be free to obtain by doing a few quests that are part of the coming Genshin Impact update 2.5. The new weapon comes with the following information:
- Weapon Type: Catalyst
- Rarity: Four-star
- Base Attack: 565
- Secondary Statistics (Attack percent): 27.6%
- Passive People of the Faltering Light: Increases the Energy Recharge by 24% for 10 seconds after applying an Elemental Skill
Oathsworn Eye is an excellent option to play DPS Catalyst characters, including Ningguang Klee, Mona, or the recently revealed Yae Miko. Even though MiHoYo announced her five-star weapon that she has been using for years, Oathsworn Eye could still be a good option for players who aren’t willing to invest their Primeogems to purchase the banner of the weapon.
The weapon’s passive nature has caused many players to believe. That it’s an excellent option for Yae since she reportedly suffers from Energy Recharge problems.
Yae Miko’s second statistic is the Crit rate. This implies that she’ll likely be a solid Genshin Character with Impact. She also know to be the Electro Vision holder, which is typical in Inazuma characters.
Yae’s elemental blast can result in thunder and lightning that causes AoE electro-damage. Her Elemental Skill allows her to quickly move around, leaving behind piles of “Lethal Sakura” that periodically inflict damage on a single adversary. This ability can also a perfect fit to play the sub-DPS role.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile PCs, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
