The Legacy of the Republic Expansion for Star Wars: After a series of bumps on The road ahead, Star Wars: The Old Republic has finally launched Legacy of the Sith, the five primary update pack. However, many players who have dived in the Old Republic‘s new content have already finished it, only to see how tinny the expansion is.
If one is playing an MMORPG expansion, one should think of 10 hours of stories to keep them entertained. SWTORplayers were shocked to learn that the Legacy of the Sith’s story Legacy of the Sith ended within a matter of 2 or 3 hours and comprised of less-than-good writing quality than the ones the Old Republic is known for.
Players even hit the new 80 caps around halfway through the story.
Another even more exciting thing is that the innovative Combat Style system is one of its most notable aspects. Before this, characters of one of the classes lock between two advanced classes.
They can now select any advanced-now class, known as combat styles, which are either Force Powers or tech users. This update included a restricted tree in which players require to select between capabilities. Which means that some combinations players have been using for over decades are now unobtainable.
Also, SWTORoverhauled its user interface to provide a more vibrant and less stylized version that a few players prefer to the older version.
The Old Republic’slast expansion pack, Onslaught, was previously the shortest of its assemblies comprising about six hours of story-related content.
The Legacy of the Republic Expansion for Star Wars
It thought to too short in terms of an expansion pack. Legacy of the Sith being just half as lengthy has disappointed fans in particular since it includes more content for the endgame than the Onslaught expansion pack.
The noticeable drop in quality following The Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion has led some to believe that the Old Republic has suffered due to funding issues. And mechanical problems because of its outdated engine that is dated and inefficient.
There is no doubt that many gamers not thrill with the game’s expansion thus far.
Many who signed up for access to Legacy of the Sith have already canceled their subscriptions because of displeasure. Some have even decided to leave the game altogether.
Many players believed that some of the less-popular features. Of those on the Public Test Servers would have fix before going live. Like the not-finished UI and the black-box slots for inventory. But disappoint to discover these were not.
However, not everyone has lost hope. However, not everyone entirely convince. A few players in SWTORplayers are keeping their fingers crossed, hoping that new content will fill in the short story in the further expansion.
The Old Republic has excited its 10th anniversary and has promised at least one year of exciting new content starting in Legacy of the Sith. Although its debut could be viewed as uninspired. The Old Republic can still provide ample time left to live up to the promises made in subsequent patches.
