The Destiny 2 Fighting Game Concept is Fantastic: Franchises of video games that cross over into new genres can be very enjoyable and thrilling. They help breathe new life into the series. And help introduce the series to new players who may not have played previous entries.
Bungie can further use this to expand the tale and the legends in Destiny 2.
If Bungie ever thought of creating a spin-off Destiny game that crossed over into another genre, it might consider its Super Mario series for inspiration.
The Nintendo icon features various genres and games such as Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, and Mario Party.
Twitter user @EntityPsd has recently shared an idea for the “Destiny 2” fighting game, including statements for each character’s strengths as well as an animated screen for character selection along with a video of Osiris getting ready to battle Oryx.
Although it’s not an official game from Bungie. It looks fantastic and is fascinating to consider what it could mean when the game goes into production.
Many characters from the most well-known players of Destiny 2 are in the idea, including Cayde, Luxe Hunter, Osiris, Tempest, Riven Wyvern, and Wyvern, which is an impressive roster of characters that will surely tick all the boxes for every Destiny player.
The Destiny 2 Fighting Game Concept is Fantastic
Each character has unique abilities; for example, Mithrax can use a gauntlet to cut holes in the vex system to summon junk. Tempest can use arch chains to help facilitate massive combinations.
Since the characters equipped with weapons and powers that are innate to them, it’s reasonable to envision that a game like the Destiny fighting game is comparable to games like Bandai Namco’s SoulCalibur,
where players fight in a 3-D arena, using weapons. With the game taking place in a fictional version of the 17th and 16th centuries.
It is logical to imagine making a Destiny fight game, a science-fiction adaptation from the SoulCalibur game series, which could be a great idea and perform exceptionally well.
The Destiny 2 series is constantly evolving with new expansions, and Bungie is expanding the tale and lore of this Destiny game by incorporating other forms of media like comics,
there are plenty of options in the process of constructing the story of the game. Including whether Bungie decides to make this game to create an early precursor to the account. Or even to tell stories within the present timeline.
Unfortunately, this is merely an idea because it is a game that merits made into formal production.
However, given the amount of response the Tweets have received and the overwhelming response. Maybe it will be enough to convince Bungie to take note of the feedback. And begin thinking about the possibility of spin-off games.
Destiny 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia, and the forthcoming The Witch Queen expansion set to go live on February 22nd, 2022.
