Showa American Story: Zombies have enthralled video games for quite an extended period.
Games like Zombies ate My neighbors, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, and, more recently, Back 4 Blood show that there’s plenty of excitement in killing hordes.
NETCOM Games looks to add to the ever-growing collection of zombie games by offering their approach to the genre.
Showa American Story is A Lot to Take In
Today, a trailer went up that showed the gameplay of Showa American Story for the first time.
The storyline for the video game is in a different reality; America has become an illegal Japanese colony.
There is a point at which an incident triggers monsters like zombies to take over the nation.
The players will control Choko, a stuntwoman who recently recovered from her death while traveling across the country to find out what happened to her sister.
It seems that the game could take place in the 80s as there’s a VHS film that’s titled Growing Pains, which is an American sitcom that ran in the 1980s.
Showa American Story will have hack and slash gameplay using weapons like weapons and swords.
It will also have driving segments on a motorcycle in addition.
NETCOM Games also revealed that the game would be available for PlayStation 4 and 5 in addition to PC.
There is no release date announced for the game.
