PlayStation Now Gets More Games: PlayStation Now is a subscription service, similar to Xbox Game Pass. It provides users with access to both old and new games for a monthly cost.
The games can be downloaded or streamed through the cloud. As the year 2019 has just begun, Sony has announced that additional games are now available through the cloud service.
These Six Games Are Joining Now in January
PlayStation Now Gets More Games
This week it was announced that PS Now received six new games. PS Now library received six new games: Mortal Kombat 11, Kerbal Space Program: Enhanced Edition, Unturned, Fury Unleashed as well as Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.
The games are available via PlayStation 4, PS4, PS5, and PC. However, PS5 users will not be able to play the upgraded version of Mortal Kombat 11.
While this might currently be a means for Sony to rival Xbox Game Pass, that could change shortly.
It was revealed earlier this month that Sony would develop a brand new Game Pass competitor.
The service will comprise PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now. In addition, it will have different levels with each one offering better advantages over the previous.
The first tier will function similarly to PS Plus, with the latter levels bringing other games and demonstrations.
However, the rumor hasn’t confirmed the story, and it could turn out to be true.
