Instead, the Player has to choose what equipment they want to use for their Ballplayer that works well together, not the other way around.

How to Put on Equipment in MLB Show 22
In MLB The Show 22, it’s not too hard to put on some Equipment in the game. Your Profile is on the Main Menu. Click on it to get there.
You’ll see a Menu with things you can change like your Ballplayer, Profile, and Collection when you do this.
Under your Ballplayer, click on the Loadout button. You can do this to load up your Ballplayer avatar. Right next to “Equipment,” there should be a button that says “Click.” Click it.
After you click on it, a list of what you can put on your Ballplayer will appear. They can be used on different parts of the avatar, like:

- Bat Grip
- Catcher Mask
- Cleats
- Compression Sleeve
- Elbow Guard
- Eyewear
- Leg Guards
- Shin Guard
- Socks
- Batting Gloves
- Chest Protector
- Fielding Glove
- Ritual Item
- Wrist Guard
There is a good chance that you will be able to put something on if you have something from one of these equipment groups.
Please look at the equipment you want to use and then put it on. This will help you improve some of the stats of your ballplayer.
This is important: Make sure you use the right kind of gear for your character’s play style. Suppose your Ball Player is a Power Catcher.
To be a Catcher, you’ll need to be strong with your arms and have good vision and be able to make good contact. So, it’s important to use things that can help you improve these skills.
