Is there an Abandoned Cave located in Elden Ring?
The journey to the Abandoned Cave within the Elden Ring requires players to travel to Camelid. Before setting out, make sure you have enough preservation Boluses or learn your Flame, Cleanse Me incantation as the cave is brimming with Scarlet Rot.
Take a turn to the west to Fort Faroth toward the ravine which runs through Camelid. The source can traverse from the west side of the canyon to a tower on the eastern side, an opening for The Abandoned Cave. Players can gaze down into the gorge near the ever gaol and see an erect tree root running through the valley.
Unfortunately, the Abandoned Cave is a terrible area. It’s full of Scarlet Rot, and there are numerous ambushes in the area. There aren’t any enemies formidable. However, it’s not hard to fall victim to low health due to Scarlet Rot. The main challenge is staying out in the liquid decay as long as possible.

In the end, players will need to take on the two Cleanrot Knights.
However, they can keep one busy by summoning the Spirit Ash, and they’re not depleted in health. It’s pretty easy to stagger when with heavy weapons.
After beating those Cleanrot Knights, players can take possession of their Gold Scarab Talisman, increasing the number of ruins they can drop on their death.
