Genshin Impact invites UK students to register and vote:  Genshin Impact is taking its first step into Esports by collaborating with GinxTV to host GinxTV’s University Invitational UK. A event open to all students attending colleges across the United Kingdom. 

It offers a thrilling prize pool of 11,000 GBP in cash, plus merchandise and game-related inclusions. And three teams could win after winning the series of Genshin Impact challenges.

Genshin Impact invites UK students to register and vote

The schedule for the event is as-is:

  • Stage 1: Team Registration and Selection (Online) May 9, 2022, to May 16, 2022
  • Stage 2: Qualifiers (Local University Divisions) May 16, 2022, to May 20, 2022
  • 3. Stage: Finals (Live from London) May 28, 2022

Teams interested in participating can visit the official page for the event to sign up. And non-qualifying people can choose groups they’d like to see participate in the qualifying. Each team has to represent an accredited university in the UK and have three members who can be an alumnus.

Team Registration

Teams from all official university teams are eligible to register for their divisions. Each division has four sections that go to the qualifying rounds:

  • University College London
  • King’s College London
  • Imperial College London
  • Queen Mary University of London
  • London Southbank University
  • University of Roehampton
  • University of Surrey
  • Brunel University London
  • University of Cambridge

Students from non-listed universities can also participate in this Social Team division. A single team will be picked, and then they’ll go into the finale on the public’s votes. Students must all be located in the United Kingdom as some events are live. Genshin Impact will cover the Social Team’s travel costs for the finals. However, all students must be in England. The United Kingdom.

Voting

Regardless of their location, everyone can visit the official page for the event to vote once per 24 hours. This applies to each specific IP address. In addition, 52 lucky fans with a Genshin Impact account will randomly be awarded 100 Primogem prizes.

Qualifiers

The information is not available regarding Cambridge University’s qualifying events.

  • Internal Qualifier Semi-Final: Boss Battle
  • Live Semi-Final Challenge: Level-up and Katya Vs. Amber ice-bridge challenge
  • Live Final – Collection Challenge and Boss Battle
