Fortnite’s latest hotfix adds a grapple glove: Epic Games has now released the Fortnite v21.00 hotfix on June 14, which includes the Grapple Glove item and weapon balancing improvements.
The announcement made in a blog post on the Fortnite website.
Including the Grapple Glove on the Battle, Royale island is the hotfix’s main feature. The gadget lets players grapple with complex objects and swing through the air.
After landing, players will have a limited window of opportunity to fire the grappling hook and resume swinging. After that, sliding out of a swing extends the time frame even more.

Epic Games has made several balancing tweaks to the existing array of weaponry in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3, and the Grapple Glove.
The pellet damage, minimum pellet count, accuracy, and maximum damage cap of the Two-Shot Shotgun have all increased, while the recoil of the Hammer Assault Rifle has reduced. These two weapons are the primary beneficiaries of the update, whereas the Combat SMG has nerfed and has reduced its damage.
The Striker Burst Rifle has also been nerfed, with a drop in damage and an increase in first bullet recoil.
