Exotic Weapon Preview for Destiny 2: Destiny 2.‘s Witch Queen expansion brings a range of new armor and weapons that players can hunt for. Up until now, the new weapons were not known to the public.
However, the trailer had managed to sneak to the internet way before when it was supposed to be.
Bungie plans to use this Destiny 2 expansion to bring an experience that resembles similar to Doom or Titanfall 2.
The expansion introduces Lucent Brood from Savathun, a new, lighter-wielding enemy type. Players can battle them using four new exotics added to the game.
Twitter user Liz, famous for publishing leaked information and data mined data regarding Destiny 2, shared a 15-second preview of the upcoming exotic weapons.
The first weapon you encounter resembles a rail gun which fires multiple shots in quick succession. Possibly as an arc linear-fusion weapon. Another weapon Bungie shows is similar to the heavy grenade launcher. But instead of firing weapons, players shoot Hive worms towards their enemies.
The third weapon shows up briefly in the preview, and it’s one player has seen in Witch Queen‘s promotional materials: the exotic SMG Osteo Striga.
The last weapon in this preview is the Glaive, a brand-new weapon type available in Destiny 2. It can not just create the Ward of Dawn, but it also makes what appears to heal orbs.
The Osteo Striga is an exotic SMG that players can purchase this weapon in the game’s Destiny 2: Witch Queen Deluxe Edition.
The preview mentions that a Season pass must purchas. Indicating that two of the weapons will only available in the expansion. The other one is available only via the season pass, as is usual in The Destiny 2.
Exotic Weapon Preview for Destiny 2
A few players may be dissatisfied with the number of exotics shown in this trailer, particularly considering that Bungie showed more exotic items in Beyond Light.
Additionally, this trailer didn’t show any new exotic armor items which could come out shortly. The trailer, however, did not mention the names of any of the alien weapons.
However, players may be happy with what they have shown. The new Glaive is ideal for supplying utility to teams of firefighters, and the new launcher for grenades firing Hive worms is insane.
With the Witch Queen coming soon, Bungie might be switching everything to high speed with new details in the next few weeks. Fans should look out for the weekly blog post for updates.
Destiny 2 is accessible via PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
