  • If you think it’s a VPN issue, play your game using VPN disabled and check what happens.
  • Repair E.A.C. (Easy Anti Cheat)
    • Start Steam and search for this game within your Library.
    • Right-click the game’s name.
    • Click on Properties.
    • Select Local Files.
    • Search Local Files and find the EasyAntiCheat folder.
    • After that, double-click on EasyAntiCheat_Setup.
    • Choose Elden Ring.
    • Repair Service from there.
    • You may also uninstall Easy Anti Cheat and reinstall it.
  • Update and deinstall Epic Launcher (for reasons unknown, it seems to work for a small number of players)
  • Verify Steam Game Files Integrity
    • Open your Steam client.
    • Find Elden Ring in the Library.
    • Right-click the name of the company and then click Properties.
    • On the left, you’ll find on the left-hand side, and you’ll see a Local Files tab that you must click.
    • Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.
    • Once the verification process has completed, open the game and test whether it fails midway or even at the start.
  • Check to see if Elden Ring server is not working. Some players have a kick as a result of the server disconnect.
