Elden Ring gets a Game Boy remake: Fan content for the game Elden Ring has been coming out since the game launched in late February. What else would you expect from a game that sold 12 million copies in a month? This new project is unique, though.
Nintendo, a Nintendo YouTuber, is making a Game Boy version of the beautiful game Elden Ring. It’s going to be a monochrome, 2D adventure. In Shintendo’s words, if you have a Game Boy and want to play the project, “it will work on real hardware.”

In the first teaser, you can get a taste of what you can expect from the show. Starts in the same place as the regular Elden Ring. The Tarnished meet their death at the hands of a Grafted Scion before they die. How much of the entire game will be in the demake, but Shintendo hopes to finish the Limgrave area by the end of May.
In the past, we’ve seen a lot of games that have been made into other games. In February, a fan project called “Bloodborne PSX” made its way to PC. You can even play it on the Steam Deck. This is what Lilith Walter is working on now: Bloodborne Kart, which turns the meme into a real game.
So, of course, the Elden Ring itself has had a lot of silly mods as well. One of our favourites is when the Tree Sentinel’s horse is replaced by Thomas the Tank Engine.
