Dying Lighting Fixtures are on their way: Dying Light 2‘s launch on Friday wasn’t without a hitch since the game has experienced various bugs, glitches and random crashes.
Thankfully, Techland has attentive to the issues Dying Light 2 players are suffering. The company released a fix during the weekend and promised. That other holes were in the pipeline for a future release.
Dying Light 2 came with a one-day single update that Techland advised players to install to play the game exactly how it was intended to experience.
Day one patches addressed several issues that reviewers experienced before it officially release. The issues addressed included fixing dialogue that impeded progress in the story. And set for crashes of various kinds and pickles for bugs that caused things or AI to sink to the ground randomly.
The hotfixes that release over the weekend included fixes to improve co-op stability. Fixing audio and textures that aren’t working, and performance improvements in the two methods of DLSS. As well as ray tracer, as well as a fix for the issue players. Were experiencing while trying to cash out their in-game rewards.
Additionally, Techland provided an update regarding the issues it’s examining regarding the PC or console editions of the game. This includes several different crashes and bugs that lead to endless black screens, dead body replication glitches in co-op. And the issue that players’ point out when selling items to sellers.
Dying Lighting Fixtures are on their way
The first Dying Light was famous for its ragdoll-like physics, but Dying Light 2 appears to be not up to par in this area. Techland acknowledges the issue and is working on fixing it to bring Dying Light 2 up to speed.
The developer has also stated that they will be looking into Dying Light 2’s zombie doll physics issues.
Players are still enjoying the game, despite many technical glitches. Dying Light 2 puts the original game’s highest player number to shame in that the game had a staggering 245 553 concurrent peak players on the night of its launch.
By contrast, the original Dying Light only had 46 000 concurrent gamers on that night on the day of debut.
Techland has promised that Dying Light 2 will be supported by updates and updates for the next five years.
Quickly introducing fixes to the game’s technology problems is a good sign for this assurance, as Techland is committed to enhancing Dying Light 2.
The game already comes with a story DLC due to released in June. That meaning that players have plenty to expect.
