1. Start Discord and log into your account.
2. After logging in, you will see three icons at the bottom of your screen beside your name.
3. To open the settings, click on the gear icon.
4. Scroll down in Settings to locate the GameOverlay options section. Click on it.
5. The Enable In-Game Overlay option is the highest. It should be enabled by default. To disable it, click on the toggle.
6. Try playing the game again. You won’t get Discord overlay.

These steps can be used to temporarily disable it for a specific game rather than completely disabling it.

2. Scroll down and click Activity Status under Activity Settings.
3. Below is a list of all your games in the Added Games section.
4. You can toggle the overlay option on the right side of your screen to select the game you prefer.
