Destiny 2 players are enjoying the new “homing missile” throwing knives: The Hot Titan summer is officially underway on Destiny 2, thanks to all the fantastic, brand-new 3.0 Solar Aspects. However, Hunters might interest in starting an entirely new tradition: throwing Knife Thursdays.
The throwing knife alter in the latest release. As well as the longer-range blade has seen looking overpowered in the newest gameplay videos.
Throwing knives have received some upgrades during the Destiny 2 Season 17 update, and players have noticed (dramatically) better tracking. Videos are appearing on Reddit with some killings are humorous.
Corren_64 has shared a video of them toe-to-toeing against the Raider as Corren throws their knives slightly out of the way. The blade then swings towards the left to slash the adversary. “My brother in Christ, that’s a homing missile,” they make fun of in the title.
A fellow Reddit user, Bob-Ross and Pez, “just wanted to watch the throwing knife animation,” according to their video. They sit on top of an object, throw it off in the distance. And somehow get the kill on an opponent that isn’t visible in the video.
Then, SpeedLancer had perhaps the most absurd video: it shows a knife being thrown off the wall but being able to kill an enemy while coming back.
You may not be able to attribute that shot to improved tracking. However, the fact remains that Hunters are raving about the new knife and its homing abilities.
Season 17, also known as Season of the Haunted, is more than just sharper blades. There’s an array of new and exciting activities to take part in. If you’re looking to improve your skills within Nightmare Containment, we can guide you on how to progress.
If you’re looking to get rid of specific long-range foe-causing problems, we’ll assist you in locating that Nightmare of Qalec, the Sniper. Also, there’s a brand new Duality Dungeon to unlock.
