Cyberpunk 2077 spin-off Edgerunners hits Netflix in September: Netflix has published two new clips from the forthcoming Cyberpunk 2077 anime spin-off. The teasers presented at the company’s 2022 Geeked Week, which is tantalizing considering the subtitle Edgerunners.
The first video is a brief teaser that introduces the anime’s universe and some of its characters. While the second is a 40-second clip that concentrates on a single scenario. Netflix, CD Projekt Red, and studio Trigger collaborated on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which will release in September 2022.
The anime first announce in 2020 but put on hold for the following two years. The newly released clip emphasizes the anime’s future environment, which closely resembles the visuals of the 2020 game.
The videos include a lot of blood and gore, suggesting that the anime intend for an older audience.
In both trailers, not much of the narrative was disclosed. But it seems that the series would center on two cyber-enhanced humans.

One of the characters has the appearance of a young male with a mohawk, while the other is a young lady with short white hair. While working for a distinct set of possibly unscrupulous persons, they seem to work together to take down shady crooks inside Night City.
Studio Trigger, a prominent Japanese animation studio, developed the animation for Edgerunners. Studio Trigger found in 2011 by animation veterans and rose to attention with the release of Kill la Kill’s successful series in 2013.
They’ve since worked on shows including Little Witch Academia, Darling in the Franxx, and SSSS. Gridman, and Promark, among others. In addition, the studio assisted on two episodes of Star Wars: Visions.
The trigger is working on Edgerunners alongside the CD Projekt Red devs that worked on the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing game.
The game is set in an unspecified future period and revolves around a mercenary call V. V goes around Night City, and it is up to the players to choose the cybernetic implants V should get.
Before its release, Cyberpunk 2077 widely anticipate. Still, after a series of delays, the game received poor reviews owing to many bugs and a lack of overall polish.
