Combination of The Rock and Eevee: Eevee has a special place in the ranks of Generation 1 Pokemon. The creature resembles the small brown fox. They’re notable because they have eight possible variations, more than any other Game Freak Pocket Monsters.
Each possible evolution is an entirely different Type. However, there are some exceptions to the way each Type is depicted.
For instance, there are none of the Rock-type evolutionary variants of Eevee.
Twitter cosplay artist @JohnnyJunkersdecided to remedy this, posting a photo titled “Finally, a rock type Eevee evolution.”
Of course, this is a different kid for Rock than Pokemon fans might have expected, as it merges the cuddly Eevee with the chiseled features of actor and professional wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The image shows the 3D-printed design that depicts Johnny’s “Rock-type” Eevee.
It’s a relatively simple design, with the Rock’s head emerging out of the tiny Eevee’s body. Pokemon’s Eevee.
The sculpture also has two Eevee ears and The Rock’s ears that are human to make an overall complete set.
Of obviously, it’s an issue of opinion whether the additional oratory orifices enhance the look of the sculpture or are more terrifying; however, they aren’t in any way mutually exclusive.
Combination of The Rock and Eevee
The tweet received a lot of praise from other Twitter users. The first comment at the time of writing is a variation that is a variation of that Magneto “Perfection” meme, with others Twitter users sharing similar feelings.
There were also amusing requests for @JohnnyJunkers to take down his gruesome human-Pokemon hybrid.
They also included a cute clip of the character The Rock in Moana singing, “What can I say except delete this.”
However, this isn’t necessarily the only recent instance of strange human-Pokemon hybrids appearing in fan art.
This time in December, Reddit users The_God_of_Athiests and The_God_of fans of Pokemon Quagsire mixed to Family Guy’s Quagmire.
It’s unknown whether this is now an ongoing trend or just an accident, but both artists appear to have a special love for puns.
Of the two, “Rock-type Eevee” defiantly withs the award for the most horrifying.
In contrast to the previous artist @JohnnyJunkers, a predominant cosplayer rather than an artist.
He makes use of the 3D printer to make props and other accessories for his costumes.
He’s also not an amateur, having won the State Farm-sponsored Cosplay Contest in 2000.
The most prominent part of his work is his impressive Mega Man cosplay, and he is currently working on a new Mega Man version.
Fans can follow his progress in live streams on Twitch. His other creations are much less terrifying than the Dwayne Johnson Pokemon hybrid.
